first log

Hello there. I blogged once, but it was a boring play-by-play of my day. No substance.

Now, I've gotten to reading almost daily several other people's blogs. One really intelligent young woman, one probably hot lady, a cool angry guy, and an unusually open chic. I surf from their blogs to others some, but I read these almost every day.

I started leaving comments... then realized that at times I wanted to say more about ME in the comments than really comment on their posts. So that's kinda what I'll use this space for - to talk about things that I'm thinking about, both spontaneously and as a result of reading other people's thoughts.

I find that the interplay of thoughts between people has a generative effect - too bad that in real life few people open up enough to allow this to realy happen to it's full potential.

I need to figure out how to do comments here
.........

Ok, figured out the comments thing.

I like the list of sexual suggestions I left on Sarah's post today.

I'm very sexually liberal... but otherwise socially/fiscally conservative. And I'm "religious", too, even though I hate that word.

I need to find a local Socrates Cafe.

Everyone else has this "100 things" thing, but since this plain vanilla blog format is limited and I don't have time for a lot of CSS or HTML or whatever, I'll just put things down every now and then... eventually I'll have a hundred.

1. I was born shortly before Neil Armstrong stepped onto the moon for the first time.
2. When I was 7, I saw Tom Landry eating at a McDonalds where I was having lunch.
3. I love the Dallas Cowboys.
4. I love free association.
5. I hate pop psychology.
6. I dislike most therapists.
7. I've only seen 4; one was a nut, one was useless, two were helpful.
8. A therapist basically ruined my first marriage to spring thomas...
9. Or would have if my ex hadn't ruined it first.
10. I'm not sure if I'm doing this list right.
11. I'm always of two or more minds about everything, which sometimes makes me inconsistent.

More later.

BTW, how can a mind have a corner?
